Founded in 1959, California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) handles North and Latin American sales and marketing for products made by the Compound Semiconductor Devices Business Division (CSDBD) of Renesas Electronics. Each year CEL ships more than 100 million Renesas devices, directly and through such electronics distributors as Arrow, Avnet, Digi-Key, Future Electronics, and Nu Horizons.
